TESCO Ireland new Sponsor of Ladies NFL

The Ladies Gaelic Football Association today unveiled Tesco Ireland as its new title sponsor of the National Football leagues at the launch of the new season of the high profile, inter-county competition.
Tesco and the LGFA have agreed a three year deal which will see the National Football Leagues coming under the Tesco Homegrown brand. Tesco already have a strong association with Ladies Football as sponsors of the All Ireland Club Championships, the All Ireland Club Sevens, All Ireland Post Primary Schools Competitions and the Club Person of the Year Award.
Helen O'Rourke, CEO of Ladies Football, commented, "We are delighted that Tesco Homegrown have agreed to come on board as title sponsors of our Ladies National Football Leagues. The LGFA and Tesco already enjoy an excellent relationship and this new sponsorship agreement further strengthens those bonds and reaffirms Tesco's commitment to Ladies Gaelic Football."

The Tesco Homegrown Ladies National Football Leagues get under way on Sunday 3rd February with a number of tantalising opening round fixtures across all four divisions. In Division 1, reigning champions Monaghan host All Ireland champions Cork while Leinster rivals Dublin and Meath will battle it out in the capital.
The clash of the round in Division 2 is the meeting of Galway and Kildare. Galway just missed out on promotion last year while the Lilywhites will be looking for a speedy return to the top flight. In Division 3, All Ireland intermediate champions Armagh face an away trip to Ulster rivals Down while in Division 4 All Ireland Junior finalists Louth face a tough opening test against Roscommon.
