Tesco Homegrown Juvenile Championships great success ......

Last weekend saw the biggest event in the DLGF juvenile calendar with over 50 juvenile finals & approx. 2,000 girls showcasing the skills of LGF & enjoying playing our sport. It was a great weekend, the sun was shining & there was a great atmosphere with games going on all across Dublin. A sincere thank you to all the clubs who hosted our finals and went to great lenghts to ensure that everything ran smoothly. Thank you to our fixtures co-ordinators, our volunteers our officials, pitch co-ordinators, parents and supporters for giving so generously of their time & for sharing this great occasion with us.
A huge thank you to the organising committee under the leadership of Mary O'Connor, Fixtures Secretary, greatly assisted by Paul McLoughlin, Referees Co-ordinator, Kathleen Colreavy, Asst. Secretary, Susan Naughton, Office Administrator & Dublin Executive Committee.
Finally, congratulations to all the teams and to their mentors and managers who where a credit to themselves and their clubs and to the many clubs who achieved success over the weekend. The biggest winner over the weekend was the sporting manner in which our finals where played in & thank you.
