Dublin Ladies Gearing up For Week 2 of Summer Camps
- Aug 10,2012
The first ever week of the Dublin Ladies Gaelic Summer Camps were a resounding success. From 10am on Monday morning until 2.30 in Friday afternoon, all players and coaches had a blast!
A wide variety of topics were covered during the week which meant that neither coaches nor players ever got bored!
There was a skills assessment on Day 1 and Day 5 which allowed the coaches to give all players feedback on how they had progressed over the week, and what they should do to improve their football skills.
Coaching of running mechanics was also built into the daily activities. This resulted in players having a better understanding of what is the best way to move their bodies when participating in any sport.
There were also plenty of football specific skills, drills and games coached during the week.
Feedback from the coaches was that having girls from all over Dublin was fantastic and they all mixed really well together, while the players themselves said that one of the best aspects of the camp was the all girls environment.
So with week one complete, Dublin Ladies are getting ready to do it all again on for week two which commences on the 20th of August.
Places are still available for week two so sign up now to get yourself a spot. For more information email dublinladiessummercamps@gmail.com or phone 0857501619
