Bord Gáis Energy Ladies NFL Semi Finals

 

Division 1

Cork v Meath, Crettyard, Laois, 2.00pm, (K Delahunty)

Meath were very close to causing an upset in the Round stages of the competition losing out to Cork by a single goal. Meath manager Paula Cunningham stated early in the week that the underdogs label suits her team perfectly. The Cork defence remains full of experience and strength but there are plenty of new faces in the forward line which may be a target area for the Royals.

 

Dublin v Monaghan, Gaelic Grounds, Drogheda, 3.00pm (E O'Hare)

A very tight game is expected here. Monaghan came out on top in the round stages by a single point. A game of two halves with Dublin dominating the first and Monaghan the second. Sinead Goldrick will be starting on the bench for Dublin as will Ellen McCarron for Monaghan, however Monaghan do have the return of Caoimhe Mohan at corner forward to look forward to.
