An early blitz proved pivotal as Clontarf took the division six crown with Ciara Strutt, Maya Brooks and Alisha Maguire inspiring them to victory.
Early frees from Strutt and Brooks put them in ascendancy before Maguire's booming pass dropped to the edge of the square where Brooks took on possession and chipped delightfully beyond the grasp of Jessica Whelan.
Brilliant blocks from the likes of Bea Jackson and Alison Keane kept the foxes in the hunt into the second half and, despite some sturdy interventions from Cliona McMahon, they closed the gap to three points with Ellen O'Connor and Aoife Bell on the mark.
But Clontarf finished stronger with Strutt and Maguire on the mark once again.
