  • Apr 10,2012

Dublin had a comprehensive win over Wicklow in the 3rd round of the Leinster U-14 championship with a winning score of 6-11 to 1-10.A number of girls were absent from the previous week's starting 15 due to illness/injury.

However by half time the game was beyond Wicklow's reach thanks to th scoring power of Megan Foley, Hannah O'Neill, Niamh Prior and Laura McGinley. In the second half, all eleven substitutes came off the bench which made for more of a game.

Dublin now face Meath next weekend. Meath have also won all their matches so it's an important fixture for Dublin. The managemnt team would like to thank the County Board and Westmonstown GAA club for providing their excellent facilities on the day.
