TESCO PPS All Ireland Champions:

Congratulations to Colaiste Iosagain who won the Junior B All Ireland PPS title on Saturday last following a 1-14 to 0-09 victory over Scoil Bhríde of Tuam. This is the second All Ireland title for Colaiste Iosagain in two years as the Stillorgan School also captured the senior C All Ireland crown last season. Well done to all the players, their management team, teachers and their respective clubs.

 

Bord Gáis Energy Ladies NFL:

Dublin have qualified for this year's Bord Gáis Energy Ladies NFL semi-final following their 0-11 to 0-08 win over Laois yesterday afternoon in Portmarnock. The semi-final pairings for division one have been confirmed, Dublin will play Monaghan while Meath face reigning league and All Ireland champions, Cork.

Both semi-finals will be played on Sunday April 29th with Croke Park due to confirm the venue (neutral) and times in due course. Everyone involved in Dublin Ladies would like to wish Niamh McEvoy a speedily recovery from the shoulder injury that she picked up during the Laois game.

Golf Classic 2012:

The Dublin Ladies Annual Golf Classic takes place on Friday the 18th of May, the event will be held in the K Club Saffron Co Kildare. A team of four ball, €320 or the sponsorship of a TEE Box is just €100.

Leinster Championship:

Busy weekend for the young Dubs as all three under age squads are in Leinster championship action this Easter Weekend.

First up are the Dublin U16 team who play Longford on Saturday 7th of April @ 2.45pm in Westmanstown (Garda GAA Club), this is followed by the U14 team take on Wicklow at the same venue, throw in time 4.30pm.

Dublin minors play Laois on Easter Monday @ 2pm in Fingallians GAA Club, Swords. Many thanks to both the Garda and Fingallians GAA clubs for hosting both events.

 

The Dublin Ladies Gaelic Football Association would like to extended our deepest sympathy to the Walsh and Enright families of Dungarvan Co. Waterford following the death of Mary Enright (nee Walsh) who died tragically in a car accident on Monday night, Féadfaidh sí a chuid eile i síocháin.
