Bord Gáis Energy National Football League - Round 5

Sunday 11th March

Division 1.

Donegal v Dublin, Convoy, 2.30PM (T McSorley)

Donegal have only registered 1 win so far in the Bord Gáis Energy National League. Dublin will be favourites for this match so it will take a huge performance from Donegal to gain 3 points this weekend.

Cork v Laois, Fermoy, 2PM (S Joy)

A rematch of the 2011 Bord Gáis Energy National League Final. Laois were very close to the Cork in last year's final but 2nd half goals coast them dearly. Caoimhe Dolard in goals and the rest of the Laois defence will need to keep a clean sheet if they want to be in with a chance of 3 points.

Meath v Kildare, Ashbourne, 2PM (P Kehoe)

Another Leinster derby. Meath produced an outstanding performance against Cork in round four and were very unlucky not to come away with at least a draw. If they aim to secure a semi final slot they most avoid a slip up this weekend at all cost. Things are not looking good for Kildare as they sit bottom of the table. A win this weekend is a necessity.

Tyrone v Monaghan, Healy Park, Omagh, 2pm (T McShea)

This Ulster clash should be a very competitive affair. Tyrone led Dublin by a goal at half time in Round 4 only to let their lead slip to behind by 3 at the final whistle. While Monaghan are favourites, Tyrone cannot be discounted.

Division 2

Fermanagh v Mayo, Kinawley, 2PM (M Farrelly)

Kerry v Waterford, Castleisland Desmonds, 2pm (K Delahunty)

Galway v Cavan, Milltown, 2PM, (S Regan)

Tipperary v Clare, Bansha, 2PM (M Doherty)

Division 3

Wexford v Roscommon, Oylgate, 2pm (S Duane)

Down v Sligo, Saval, 2PM (G Treanor)

Westmeath v Armagh, Cusack Park, 2PM (G Carmody)

Leitrim v Wicklow, Ballinamore, 2pm (M Henry)

Division 4

Antrim v Louth, TBC, 2PM (G McCrystal)

Limerick v Carlow Kildimo, 1 PM (S Mulvihill)
