Dublin management have kept faith with the starting fifteen that began against Mayo for this coming Sundays league showdown with Kildare.
Several Dublin players gave solid performances in last weekend’s hard-fought victory over Mayo. Goalkeeper, Katie Moran Tighe was impressive on her senior debut likewise Sophie McIntyre who handled her tussle with veteran defender Kathryn Sullivan with aplomb.
Aoife Curran looked confident on her return to Inter County football as did Rebecca McDonnell while Chloe Darby was self-assured on the ball and handled the free taking responsibilities with confidence. Once again Leah Caffrey and Martha Byrne show cased why they are among the best defenders in the game.
The Lilywhites will be looking to bounce back from their opening round defeat to Waterford. Kildare boss, Pat Sullivan who previously managed the Déise has plenty of experience of playing Dublin and will have his side well prepared for this encounter.
Match referee, Shane Curley from Galway will get proceedings underway in Manguard Park at 2pm.
