Kilcock GAA club, Co Kildare

Dublin v Meath

History will be made this Thursday night when Dublin and Meath take on each other in the inaugural U20 Leinster final.

Dublin come into the contest unbeaten having claimed victories over Kildare and Meath respectively while Meath bounced back from their defeat to Dublin with a win over Kildare. Roisin McManus, Aideen Reilly, Jennifer Lynch and Nikki Ennis all raised the green flag for the royals on that occasion as they cruised to a 4-13 to 0-06 victory.

For their latest encounter with the Royal County, the Dubs have made three changes to their starting fifteen from that which defeated Meath previously. Coming into the starting team are Hazel Grady, Clodagh Fox and Cait Phelan. Making way are Niamh Redmond, Leah Pidgeon and Kate Donaghy, with the trio are all named on the bench.

When the two teams meet back on the 4th of July Dublin emerged victorious by four points having withstood a second half Meath comeback.  This latest episode in the rivalry has all the makings of another classic encounter and one not to be missed.

The action gets underway in Kilcock GAA club (Kildare) at 7.30pm.
