GetPRO announced as new Protein Partner

GetPRO revealed as new Official Protein Partner of Dublin GAA


GetPRO, a new high protein range from Danone, have been named as the new Official Protein Partner of Dublin GAA.


Martha Byrne, Donal Burke, Cormac Costello and Ciara Tierney were all on hand to launch the sponsorship and are pictured above.


The partnership will see GetPRO and Dublin GAA work together to champion a healthy lifestyle and raise awareness of the role of protein in supporting fitness journeys.


To celebrate the new partnership, GetPRO are hosting a special pop-up on Grafton Street in Dublin, from the 15th to the 18th of February, where you can “Beat the PRO”.


There will be four physical challenges, all tested out by Dublin GAA players; from hanging tough, to a cycling trial, a reaction challenge and a wall squat. Anyone who participates will also be in with a chance to win prizes which include Dublin GAA signed merchandise and a walking treadmill.


“Uniting with the pinnacle of Gaelic games in Dublin GAA marks a really exciting milestone for us here in Danone,” said Maria Murphy, Marketing Director, Danone Ireland.


“We know and understand the importance of protein when it comes to physical fitness and the contribution it can make in a player’s nutrition, so we’re delighted to be alongside Dublin GAA on their journeys this year.”

“Our teams are consistently searching for ways to evolve and optimise their training and preparation and nutrition is a central cog in that. The GetPro Protein range will assist with post training and matches for teams across all four codes of Dublin GAA.


The GetPRO range includes 11 protein snack options including yogurts, puddings, mousses and drinks, to be enjoyed at home and on the go after a workout.


The GetPRO pop-up will be open to the public from 15th to 18th February on 105-106 Grafton Street, Dublin 2.

  • Thursday 15th February: 12pm – 7pm
  • Friday 16th February: 8am – 7pm
  • Saturday 17th February: 10am – 7pm
  • Sunday 18th February: 10am – 6pm
