Dublin and Cork ... a sporting rivalry.
As we continue our countdown to this Saturday's big championship clash with old foes Cork, we decided to look back on the last ten TG4 senior championship meetings between the two Counties.
As you can see from the figures the Rebel County certainly has had the upper hand over their great rivals since 2008, winning all bar three of their ten championship outings.

2008 All Ireland Quarter Final Cork 3-17 (26) Dublin 1-04 (7)
2009 All Ireland Final Cork 1-09 (12) Dublin 0-11 (11)
2011 All Ireland Quarter Final Cork 2-14 (20) Dublin 3-10 (19)
2013 All Ireland Quarter Final Cork 1-19  (22) Dublin 2-12 (18)
2014 All Ireland Final Cork 2-13 (19) Dublin 2-12 (18)
2015 All Ireland Final Cork 0-12 (12) Dublin 0-10 (10)
2016 All Ireland Final Cork 1-07 (10) Dublin 1-06 (9)
2018 All Ireland Final Dublin 3-11 (20) Cork 1-12 (15)
2019 All Ireland Semi Final Dublin 2-11 (17) Cork 0-11 (11)
2020 All Ireland Final Dublin 1-10 (13) Cork 1-05 (08)

However Dublin have defeated Cork on the last three occasions that the two sides met including the TG4 All-Ireland finals of 2020 and 2018. In fact, Mick Bohan has never lost to Cork in the championship!

Can Mick inspire another championship victory over Cork or will Shane Ronayne come up trumps and dash the Dubs dream of returning to Croke Park on August 13th next.

The action gets underway this Saturday (July 29th) at 7.30pm in FBD Semple Stadium, Thurles.

Watch the game LIVE only on TG4.
