SPIRIT CUPRA SEAT Dealership – CAR PRIZE DRAW presentation
Dublin LGFA represented by Chairperson Joe Keane, senior Manager Mick Bohan and senior team captain Carla Rowe where on hand yesterday to present the Dublin LGFA Monster Draw first prize winner, Robyn Casey with her brand-new SEAT IBIZA car.
Robyn recently returned to Ireland from studying in Italy and was thrilled with her prize!
Speaking at the car presentation Gary Hamilton (Dealer Principal) expressed his thanks to Dublin LGFA for the opportunity to come on board to support the Dublin senior football team and to play a role in the promotion of female sport in the capital.
Joe Keane, Chairperson of Dublin LGFA thanked Spirit Motor Group and SEAT Ireland for their support. Joe also thanked the Dublin senior panel, their management team and indeed all the underage Inter County squads who where instrumental in making the Monster Draw a tremendous success. Players took on the task of selling tickets with the same enthusiasm as how they represent their County on the field of play.
Proceeds from the Monster Draw enabled Dublin LGFA to assist the Dublin senior team with their preparation throughout the year and also with the continued development of Ladies Gaelic football in the capital by helping to fund Dublin LGFA underage County and player development squads.
Joe added that Dublin LGFA “have been fortunate to be supported by companies like Spirit Motor Group , KPMG and CPL as well as AIG and others. John Costello the outgoing CEO of Dublin GAA has also worked with DLGFA in a hugely collaborative manner”.
Director of Spirit Motor Group, Jim Ryan wished Carla and Mick all the very best of luck in their upcoming TG4 All Ireland semi final on July 29th next versus Cork, FBD Semple Stadium Thurles.
