Dublin U14's exit championship

  • May 15,2023

Dublin U14’s exit the championship.

The Dublin Under 14 team exited the championship last Saturday (May 13th) following a 3-10 to 0-07 defeat to Cork. Despite a gallant performance from the girls in blue they could not contend with Cork who staged a miraculous recovery from their disastrous showing the previous weekend whereby they had lost all three games in the opening round of the national series.

Cork will now play Cavan in the All-Ireland U14 semi-final on May 27th next with Leinster champions, Kildare taking on Mayo in the second semi-final.

Dublin LGFA are extremely proud of the Dublin U14 panel and their management team who represented their County, clubs and families with distinction throughout their 2023 campaign.

In total twenty-one clubs were represented on the Dublin Under 14 panel of 2023. This is a reflection on the high standard of Gaelic football being witnessed at this level right across the County.

Dublin Under 14’s were managed by Paul Dever, Connor Shanahan, Marcus Reynolds, Wesley Horan and Emma Murphy was the team female liaison officer.
