Dublin have named their match day squad for this Sundays TG4 Leinster championship opening encounter with Meath. In total there are seven changes to the starting team from that which line out against Meath in last May’s provincial championship final in Croke Park.


Ciara Trant, Jessica Tobin (injury), Sinead Goldrick, Kate McDaid and Lyndsey Davey are absent from the starting fifteen while Sinéad Wylde and Niamh Hetherton who both began the Leinster final in 2022 are listed amongst the Dublin replacements for this latest encounter with rivals Meath.


Other notable absentees from the Dublin championship set up this season are Niamh Collins, Siobhan Killeen, Siobhan Woods, Natalia Hyland, Nicole Owens and Sinead Aherne.


Niamh Crowley (Fingallians), Caitlin Coffey (Castleknock) and Eilish O’Dowd (Na Fianna) are set to make their Leinster championship debuts.
