Minor team suffer defeat to Longford

Hard luck to the Dublin minors who came out on the wrong side of a mighty championship tussle in Pearse Park.
Longford who fielded no less than ten of their winning Leinster minor squad from last season edged ahead in the dying minutes of the game to claim three valuable championship points.
A single score separated the two teams at half time as Dublin led 0-05 to 0-04. The game was level on four occasions with the home side holding out to seal the victory.
Dublin will regroup quickly as they turn their attentions to next Wednesday’s (April 12th) meeting with Meath which is provisionally penciled in for 7:30pm in Skyrne GAA club.
