Safeguarding 2 – Club Children’s Officer Workshop

A must for all Club Children’s Officers.

The Club Children’s Officer should be child centered in focus and have as the primary aim the establishment of a child centered ethos within their club. The Club Children’s Officer is also tasked with overseeing and supporting the implementation of best practice within their club.

A person appointed to the Club Children’s Officer position in a club must have completed both a Child Welfare & Protection Basic Awareness course and a Safeguarding 2 workshop.

Dublin LGFA Children's Officer Bernice Jones Moore has organised Safeguarding 2 workshop for Dublin LGFA club children's officers on Saturday April 1st in the Croke Park Hotel, Jones Road from 10am to 1pm. Course fee €10 per person.
