Dubs 2023 LIDL NFL journey so far ….
Dublin have played five rounds to date of their 2023 LIDL national football league.
During the course of their campaign Dublin have won three games (Meath, Cork, Mayo) and lost two (Galway and Kerry). Table toppers, Kerry have already qualified for the division one league final with two rounds to spare while Galway are next on the league table followed closely by Dublin in third spot. Affectively the Dub’s two losses have been against the top two teams in the NFL.
Hannah Tyrrell is the Dubs leading scorer coming into round six having amassed a tally of 1-19 of which 13 points have come from frees. Carla Rowe is Dublin second top scorer with 1-10 (9f).
Kate Sullivan (3-03) and Caoimhe O’Connor (2-01) between them have hit five goals for the Dubs none more so important than O’Connor’s winner versus Mayo in round 5.
Next up for the Dubs is an away trip to Letterkenny for a St Patricks Day meeting with Donegal which is been shown live on TG4, 2pm
