Jump on board for the return of the club stars!
Dublin LGFA are delighted to officially announce that we are relaunching the club stars in association with our adult club competition sponsor Go Ahead Ireland!
We are looking forward to a superb day of football on Sunday February 12th next as we welcome our 2023 Go-Ahead Premier and Junior club stars to DCU. Over a hundred adult footballers from seventy plus clubs will take part in the new look event!
The format of the day will comprise of two football matches involving representatives from all Dublin clubs who competed in our 2022 adult championship competitions. The Premier fixture will be contested by two teams comprising of players nominated from Senior, Intermediate, Junior A and Junior B clubs while the Junior match will involve two teams comprising of representatives from clubs fielding at Junior C level downwards.
Like in previous years all players will receive a full kit which includes an exclusive Go-Ahead club stars jersey as a special memento and keepsake of the day.

Admission to the event is FREE with patrons asked to donate to JIGSAW. The Irish charity is a primary care youth mental health service provider in Ireland, for young people aged 12-25.
Jigsaw in association with LIDL Ireland and the LGFA recently launched the Lidl One Good Club™ programme for 2023 and are now seeking nominations from clubs across the country.
Clubs are encouraged to enter via www.lidl.ie/onegoodclub link where nominations will run until Wednesday, 8th February 2023, with one club from each country select to join the programme for 2023.
In 2022, Lidl Ireland recognised Dublin’s St. Mark’s Ladies Gaelic Football (LGFA) club with the ‘Best Overall Engagement’ award as part of the retailer’s Lidl One Good Club mental health and wellbeing programme.
CANT make the event on February 12th – we have you covered as both games will be streamed LIVE on our social media and YouTube channels. Four times senior All Ireland winner and St Brigids footballer Ciara Trant will join Jerome Quinn to bring you all the action from DCU.
