Crokes begin Leinster campaign 


Dublin senior champions Kilmacud Crokes get their 2022 Leinster club championship campaign underway this weekend when they welcome reigning Leinster and Meath champions, St Peters Dunboyne to Glenalbyn.


Entry to this eagerly awaited Leinster championship contest is by ticket only.

The action in Pairc de Burca will get underway at 1.30pm giving the home fans an opportunity to get across the city to Parnell Park for the Dublin SFC final between Kilmacud Crokes and Na Fianna, which throws in at 4pm.  


The winner of this quarter final clash will play Naomh Ciaran (Offaly) in the Leinster club semi final on October 23rd.


Next weekend, October 22nd / 23rd both Castleknock and O’Dwyers will begin their respective Leinster championship campaigns. Castleknock will be in County Louth for their quarter final game with Cooley Kickhams.


Junior champions O’Dwyers await the result of this Saturday’s preliminary round between St Martins and Eire Óg, the winner of that encounter will travel the following weekend to Balbriggan for the quarter final.

O’Dwyers (H) vs St Martin’s (Wexford) / Eire Og (Carlow)


Note: Louth as a County are graded Intermediate for the Leinster club championships so their senior club championship winner play Intermediate championship likewise Wexford and Carlow Intermediate winners play Leinster Junior club championship with their senior club champions playing in the Leinster Intermediate competition.
