Donegal 3-7 Dublin 1-7

DONEGAL STUNNED DUBLIN at the quarter-final stage of the All-Ireland senior ladies football championship today at Carrick-on-Shannon.

A low-scoring first-half saw Donegal ahead 0-4 to 0-1 at the break before the winners pounced for three second-half goals, Karen Guthrie bagging two and Yvonne Bonner striking one.

Dublin have contested the last eight All-Ireland senior finals, their exit a major result in this year’s competition after they won four-in-a-row between 2017 and 2020.
