All Ireland U16 A Semi Final

Wednesday June 29th, 7:30pm

Dublin v Roscommon

Coralstown / Kinnegad GAA club

Dublin manager, Fintan Keeling has announced his team selection for this Wednesday’s All Ireland U16 semi-final clash with Roscommon in Kinnegad.

The young Dub’s won the U16 provincial title on the 7th of May defeating Meath in the Leinster decider by 3-09 to 2-06. Eight weeks have passed since claiming provincial glory, Dublin management will be hoping that the Dublin players can find their form quickly against Roscommon.

A week later, Roscommon won their first ever U16 A Connacht title defeating Sligo in the final by 3-10 to 2-07 having previously lost to Sligo in the group stages by four points. On their way to provincial glory Roscommon overcame Galway by four points and Mayo by six, accounting for two Counties who had dominated football in Connacht at this grade for a long time.

Wishing team Dublin Captain Aoife, all the girls and their management team the best of luck on Wednesday night. The winner of this tie will play either Cork or Cavan in the All-Ireland final on Wednesday 13th of July. Dublin last won the title back in 2010 defeating Kerry in the final.
