Leinster U16 championship Rd 3

Saturday 9th April, 2pm

Eadestown GAA club, Co Kildare

Dublin management have announced their starting team selection for this Saturday’s final round game in the U16 Leinster A championship versus Kildare.

The metropolitans come into the concluding round of the group series unbeaten having registered victories over Meath and Laois respectively. Kildare had a convincing win over Laois in the opening round of the championship but fell to a strong Meath outfit in the second game of the series.

With four teams involved in the U16 A championship only two can progress to the provincial final on the 7th of May. A Dublin victory over the lilywhites will secure top spot in the group along with a place in the final however should Kildare defeat Dublin and Meath overcome Laois then score difference will be applied to determine the finalists as three Counties namely Dublin, Kildare, and Meath would be level on points.

So, there is a big prize at stake for both teams this coming Saturday in Eadestown which should make for a close entertaining contest. The action will get underway at 2pm. A reminder that admission to the game is by ticket only. Cash will not be accepted at the gate patrons are advised to purchase their tickets in advance, please click on this link to purchase tickets - https://bit.ly/3Jl7ur9
