Leinster Minor Championship Rd 1

Sunday March 27th, 2pm

TUD, Blanchardstown

Dublin minor management have announced their team selection for Sunday’s opening round of the 2022 Leinster championship. The squad are somewhat of an unknown identity with Dublin not competing at any underage grade for two seasons.

Dublin relinquished the Leinster minor crown in 2019 having previously won the provincial title for eight consecutive seasons. The competition was not played in 2020 owing to the pandemic while Dublin LGFA opted out of the Leinster championship in 2021 allowing players to prioritise club football in what was a shortened club season.

In total nineteen clubs are represented on the squad with a number of players making their Inter County debuts this coming weekend.

Meath who are the reigning Leinster champions at this grade will provide tough test for Fintan O’Curry chargers in what should be an interesting encounter between these two sporting rivals.

The action gets underway at 2pm in TUD Blanchardstown. A reminder that entry is strictly by ticket only. Tickets can be purchased via this sales link https://bit.ly/36hmhFJ
