Inter County Weekend Round Up: 


On Saturday last (March 5th), Dublin seniors took top spot in group 1B of the LIDL division one NFL with a one point victory over Meath before an estimated 5000+ spectators in Pairc Tailteann. FT Score Dublin 1-09 Meath 1-08.


Dublin will now play Donegal in the NFL semi-final with Mayo taking on Meath. Both semi-finals will be televised on TG4 on March 19th next and will most likely be played as a double bill. Details on venue / times and ticket sales to be confirmed by the LGFA in due course. 


Earlier on Saturday across the road in Navan O’Mahony’s GAA club the Dublin U16’s got their 2022 Leinster championship campaign off to a good start with a 4-09 to 2-09 win over Meath. Their next fixture will be a home game versus Laois on March 19th. Details TBC. 


Also on Saturday in Kinnegad the Dublin U14’s recorded results against Kilkenny (11-9 to 0-01) and Louth (3-03 to 1-04) while coming up short versus Longford (2-05 to 5-04) in day 2 of the Leinster U14 Championship. This Saturday, March 12th Dublin play the final series in the Leinster competition and will be up against Meath, Wexford, Wicklow, Laois and Westmeath. Details on venue / times for day 3 will be confirmed shortly by Leinster Council.
