Dublin Team announcement;
After a five month hiatus, Senior Inter County football finally resumes this weekend with Dublin taking on Waterford in the opening round of the LIDL NFL on Sunday at 2pm in Parnell Park.
Dublin management have named a starting fifteen that includes seven players who began the All Ireland final versus Cork some 22 weeks ago, namely Leah Caffrey, Martha Byrne, Aoife Kane, Jennifer Dunne, Siobhán McGrath, Lyndsey Davey and Sinéad Aherne.
Last year’s Dublin minor keeper Abby Shiels, from Lucan Sarsfields has been handed her senior debut in goal, 2019 All Star award winner Olwen Carey returns to the fold following her break from the Inter County scene in 2020, while Orlagh Nolan, Lucy Collins, Laura McGinley, Deirdre Murphy, Niamh Hetherton and Siobhán Killeen all get the starting nod for Sundays much anticipated clash with Waterford.
