Latest news from down under Melbourne v Bulldogs

Latest news from down under ...

Our wait for the return of Gaelic football continues to be hold owing to current Covid-19 restrictions so we really do welcome the opportunity to watch some live sport and follow the exploits of our three Dublin stars with Melbourne in the AFLW.

In his article for the published today, CrossCoder agent Jason Hill gave his opinion on the Dublin trio ...

“Sinéad Goldrick has been getting plenty of applause here in Australia for her run and carry off halfback and I expect this to continue to be a huge part of Melbourne’s gameplan when they take on a Western Bulldogs side that has surprised some with their ability to keep games close in 2021.

Melbourne blew North away with their scoreboard pressure last week and it’ll take a very good effort from the Dogs to keep this game close. Expect a Melbourne win and a further improvement from Niamh McEvoy if selected. There’s a chance this is the first we could see of Lauren Magee too with a favourable matchup”.

Dublin fans would be really pleased to see all three players in action for Melbourne this coming Sunday. So far the Melbourne squad to face the Bulldogs is still to be released. We will publish team news once known.

The action gets underway at 4.10am on Sunday morning (Feb 21st) Reminder that all games are available to watch live on AFLW app, with highlights from all round four games available to view on TG4 on Monday at 8pm.
