Leinster News update ....
Leinster LGFA, following a provincial meeting held online last night, have unanimously agreed that in light of the current government advice and in order to ensure clarity for adult players going forward the 2020 Leinster Junior and Intermediate Championships are cancelled.
As Dublin are the only County in the province graded senior no Leinster championship would have been organised for the reigning Champions in 2020.
In further clarification, Leinster LGFA have made no decision regarding the Under 16 and 18 competitions, with those decisions deferred to June 8th.
The Leinster LGFA Under 14 Championship together have already been cancelled last month together with all 2020 Juvenile County Development Squads activity while a decision regarding the Leinster Club Championships has been deferred until later in the year.
Leinster LGFA have announce the appointment of Stephen Maxwell, a member of the Ballyboughal club as the new Leinster LGFA GDO.
Stephen, who will bring a wealth of experience to the post and will start into his new role from 1st June and all in Dublin LGFA wish him well in his new position.
