Calling all schools in the Northwest Inner City!
Exciting News!
St. Brendan’s GAA Club are launching a Northwest Inner City Schools GAA initiative called “ Cluichí sa Chathair” (Games in the City).
This initiative aims to build participation in Gaelic Games in this part of the city and improve the physical and mental well-being of everyone who takes part. We believe all school children should have access to Gaelic games and that participation in the GAA can provide health benefits and enjoyment that can last a lifetime.
This programme involves holding GAA coaching sessions on site in schools from Junior Infants to 2nd class. The sessions are run each week by our full-time qualified Games Promotion Officer (GPO) and involve a mixture of hurling and football drills along with fun games and plenty of physical exercise.
