Dublin LGFA Weekly notes

Congratulations to Foxrock Cabinteely (Senior), Clontarf (Intermediate) and Castleknock (Junior) on winning their respective New Ireland Assurance Dublin club Championship finals.

Big thank you to everyone who ensured all three finals ran smoothly a special word of appreciation to our host clubs Fingallians (Wednesday) and St Margaret’s (Friday).

Clontarf had a quick turn around playing their first round Leinster championship game on Sunday (Sept 30th) they enjoyed a comfortable win (4-19 to 1-5) over Laois champions Shanahoe and will now play Longford champions, Carrickedmond in the next round away on October 14th.

Foxrock Cabinteely begin the defence of the Leinster provincial title with a home game this Sunday (October 7th) versus Wexford Champions Shelmaliers, details to be confirmed shortly by Leinster Council.

Castleknock will play the champions of Offaly in the Leinster Quarter Final on October 13th (details TBC).

October County Board meeting will take place on the 9th at 7:30pm in Parnell Park. The Monster Raffle in aid of the Dublin senior team and underage squads will take place at this meeting.
