Strong Dublin team named for Kerry clash

Mick Bohan, once again has named an experienced starting 15 for this Sunday’s All Ireland quarter final clash with Kerry. Fourteen players who began last Septembers All Ireland final are listed to start for the Sky Blues, this Sunday.
There is just one change to the starting team which defeated Mayo on July 28th; Sinead Finnegan is named on the half back line in place of Deirdre Murphy, who is listed amongst the Dublin replacements.
Kerry and Dublin’s last championship meeting was in the 2017 All -Ireland semi-final in Semple Stadium, with Dublin coming away from that encounter with a comfortable win (FT Dublin 5-10 Kerry 0-11), Sinead Aherne (2), Noelle Healy (2) and Nicole Owens all raising the green flag on route to an All- Ireland final appearance.
As part of an AIG initiative to raise awareness of the children’s charity, Aoibheann’s Pink Tie the Dublin team will this Sunday be lining out in their special edition Aoibheann's Pink Tie jerseys as similarly worn by Jim Gavin’s team last Sunday in Croke Park and by the Dublin Camogie team in their semi-final clash with Galway.
Monaghan native, Garryowen McMahon who now resides in Mayo is the official in charge of this latest instalment between Dublin and Kerry. Proceedings get underway at the later than usual time of 5pm. Dublin v Kerry, is live on TG4 while Dublin LGFA will also have LIVE score updates, team news and information available via their social media pages.
