Dublin LGFA Weekly Notes:
Inter County Update:
Well done to the Dublin senior team on their 5-17 to 2-13 victory over Cavan last weekend. The match report from the game is available to read on our website www.dublinladiesgaelic.ie
This coming Saturday, Dublin takes on Mayo in their TG4 SFC final group game. This fixture will take place in Dr Hyde Park, Co Roscommon. Match throw in time is 1pm. This game is live on TG4
Admission rates are Adult: €15, Student/OAP: €5, Juveniles U16 are free of charge.
Fundamentals Coaching Course
Sunday July 29th, Venue: Clanna Gael Fontenoy GAA club (9.45am to 4pm)
This coaching course is aimed at new coaches with some of the modules covered being:
Importance of creating a positive environment for our players
Planning and implementing training programmes
Introduction to the player pathway
Create awareness about making sessions more inclusive
Importance of Fundamental Movement Skills & Injury Prevention
Participants must be 16 years of age or over
Course fee is €20 per person (includes refreshments)
Course duration is 10am to 4pm (registration 9.45am)
Places are limited to 30 people per course
Booking can be made via the Dublin LGFA office by email info@dublinladiesgaelic.ie Payment can be made by cheque or postal order made payable to Dublin LGFA or alternatively by electronic transfer of funds (details available from the Dublin LGFA office).
July County Board Meeting:
The July meeting of the Dublin LGFA County Board will take place on Tuesday July 24th at 7.30pm in Parnell Park.
