2017 TG4 All Star Awards to be announced this Saturday

2017 TG4 All Star Awards:
The 2017 TG4 All Stars will be announced this Saturday November 25th at the annual banquet held in the Citywest Hotel, Saggart.
All Ireland Senior champions Dublin lead the way with 12 nominations, followed by Cork with 9, Mayo with 6, Donegal with 5, Kerry 3, Armagh and Waterford 2 each and 1 nomination apiece from Cavan, Galway, Monaghan, Sligo, Tipperary, Tyrone.
Dublin’s 12 nominees are goalkeeper Ciara Trant, defenders Martha Byrne, Sinéad Finnegan, Rachel Ruddy, Leah Caffrey and Niamh Collins, midfielder Lauren Magee, and forwards Carla Rowe, Nicole Owens, Niamh McEvoy, Sinead Aherne and Noelle Healy.
Dublin duo Sinead Aherne and Noelle Healy are also in the running for the Players Player of the Year award alongside Mayo’s Cora Staunton.
Fingallians, Emma McCormack will join a prestigious group of footballers as she becomes the 8th Dubliner to win the Leinster Young Player of the Year award.
