As the TG4 All Ireland Final between Dublin and Mayo edges closer here is some essential information that you will need coming up September 24th!

Car Parking Information:

Clonliffe College will be available for parking from 8.30am on Sunday morning. Access is via Drumcondra Road only.
Entry to the car park is €10 per car and is payable on arrival at the gate.

Patrons with special access requirements will be directed to the access area near the blue gates at the junction of Jones Road & Clonliffe Road: On arrival to the car park please let the officer at the gate know you require access parking and they will show patrons to the the special access parking area at the front of the college. This will allow you to park as close to the Clonliffe Road / Jones Road junction as possible. Please note you cannot pre-book the special access parking area on the day – this is allocated on a first come first served basis.

Safety Procedures:

Q: Can I bring a backpack or large bag to a match in Croke Park?

Backpacks and large bags are not allowed into Croke Park for matches, only small bags measuring no bigger than A4 (8.27in/21cm × 11.7/ 29.7cm) will be permitted into the stadium.

Q: Will my bag be searched before entering Croke Park?

Bags may be searched on entry to the match and to avoid lengthy queues we strongly advise that you do not bring a bag.
Please allow plenty of time to get into the stadium, and for match entry procedures, ticket checks and searches, we would advise arriving at the stadium at least 1 hour before throw-in.

Q: Can I bring a plastic bag into Croke Park?

Plastic bags are allowed into Croke Park for matches, but must measure no bigger than A4 (8.27in/21cm × 11.7/ 29.7cm) in size and may be searched on entry to the match. To avoid lengthy queues, we strongly advise you do not bring a bag.

Q: Is there anywhere I can leave a backpack or large bag while attending a match in Croke Park?

There are no bag storage facilities near the stadium and only small bags measuring no bigger than A4 (8.27in/21cm × 11.7/ 29.7cm) will be permitted into the stadium. Bags may be searched on entry to the match and to avoid lengthy queues we strongly advise that you do not bring a bag.

Q: What other searches may take place?

You may also be searched at the entrance to Croke Park which may include a full body pat down and/or use of hand held metal detectors. Any item(s), which may reasonably be considered for use as a weapon, or which may cause danger or disruption to any other persons at the event, will be confiscated.

Please note that confiscated items cannot be returned once the patron has entered the ground.

Persons suspected of carrying items that may be used in an offensive or dangerous manner, or carrying out illegal activities within the stadium or other parts of the site may be searched.

Q: What items are prohibited from Croke Park on match days?

Patrons should note that the bringing of alcohol, fireworks, smoke canisters, bottles, glasses, cans, large flags, banners, poles, distress signals, laser pointers, selfie sticks and other similar articles or containers, including anything which could or might be used as a weapon is strictly prohibited.

Q: What if I do not consent to be searched on my way into Croke Park?

If a person does not wish to give consent for a search to take place, Croke Park have a right to refuse admission. This stadium policy is endorsed and supported by An Garda Síochána who will always be in the vicinity of the stadium’s designated search areas. Any complaint or issue should be notified to the Gardaí on the day.

Signage is clearly displayed where searches are located and the policy and exact procedure are explained clearly by trained search teams, who are in place on the day before any search commences.

Q: Can I still bring a child’s buggy into Croke Park?

We would not recommend bringing a baby buggy to Croke Park. Baby buggies may be permitted entry but must be left at the back of the stands and are left there entirely at the owner’s risk.

Q: Can I still bring a medical bag with me into Croke Park?

Please notify security at the gates in advance of being searched that you are carrying such items as bags may be searched on entry to the match. Further assistance from one of our team of special needs stewards may also be requested if needed.

Please allow plenty of time to get into the stadium, and for match entry procedures, ticket checks and searches, we would advise arriving at the stadium at least 1 hour before throw-in.

Q: I still have questions that are not answered here. What can I do?

Please email Croke Park directly at info@crokepark.ie or contact Croke Park through Facebook or Twitter and a stadium representative will be happy to assist you with your query.
