Dublin LGFA Weekly notes:


Congratulations to our senior panel and management team on qualifying for the 2017 Senior All Ireland final. Dublin secured their place in the decider following at 5-10 to 0-11 semi-final victory over Kerry. The match report from the semi-final can be viewed on our website or you can view the game on the Tg4.ie website just click onto the TG4 player link http://www.tg4.ie/en/player/sport/ Sinead Aherne, who was tremendous throughout the game was named as the TG4 Player of the Match.


Dublin LGFA are now calling upon all our clubs, players and supporters to support the girls on September 24th in Croke Park. To date Dublin have enjoyed tremendous support on All Ireland final day and we hope that Dublin supporters will come out in force once again this year to support our girls in blue. Ticket prices are as follows: Adults €25, Juveniles U14 €8, Students/OAP’s €10. Tickets can be purchased via Tickets.ie or all usual GAA outlets. Group rates are Min 10 plus 1 Adult @ €5 each, only to be purchased via the LGFA office in Croke Park. 01-8363156 or email: info@ladiesgaelic.ie Clubs are also reminded to redeem their All Ireland ticket levy on or before the 15th of September (Forms to be sent to the LGFA office in Croke Park not Dublin LGFA). Ticket levy forms have been emailed to all Dublin clubs by Croke Park please check your LGFA generic email addresses.


Well done and thank you to the young ladies from Fingallians GAA club who represented Dublin in the mini games on Saturday last in Semple Stadium.

Our U13 development squad is representing the County this coming Saturday in the Leinster blitz wishing all the girls and their management team the very best of luck, enjoy the day girls.


With most juvenile Autumn competitions now up and running mentors are reminder to ensure that all players are fully registered if there is any doubt about a players status please check with your club registrar before that player plays or trains with your club. Players not registered are not covered under the LGFA injury fund scheme.


The first of our New Ireland Assurance club championships finals take place this coming Friday September 1st. Cuala and Lucan Sarsfields will contest our Junior A final (7pm) while Clontarf take on St Maurs (8.30pm) in the Intermediate final. Both games are taking place in Fingallians GAA club, Swords admission Adults €5, Students / OAP’s €3, Children U16 FREE admission.
