Dublin LGFA are please to announced that our Dublin Gourmet Player of the Match award winner for the 4th round NFL game versus Donegal is Rebecca McDonnell (Clanna Gael Fontenoy)
Rebecca covered every blade of grass in Parnell Park which was physically extremely tough going considering the wet and windy elements players had to contend with yesterday as storm Ewan raged on.
McDonnell was instrumental in Dublin's quick ball movement out of defence as the Clanna Gael Fontenoy star linked up well with Dublin forwards in particular Sinead Aherne, Lyndsey Davey and Carla Rowe helping to generate a number of key scores for her team.
Having endured a heavy knock in last weekends loss to Cork which resulted in her being removed from the game McDonnell bounced back superbly yesterday against Donegal and is a worthy winner of this award.
Rebecca will receive a voucher to use in any of the four fantastic Gourmet Food Parlour restaurants
