Dublin LGFA Weekly notes:
Our senior team enjoyed a good win over Donegal in the NFL last Sunday with the final score reading Dublin 2-17 Donegal 3-07. Dublin’s next game in the LIDL NFL will be on Sunday March 19th at 2pm in Parnell Park versus Armagh, Admission Adults €8, students / senior citizens €5, children Under 16 Free, special rate adult plus child U16 €5.
Clubs please note there will be two County Board meeting in March, first up on the 7th a general County Board meeting will take place which will include items held over from 14th February, along with the ratification of adult playing calendar and adult league and cup team gradings.
The second meeting on March 14th will deal with Feile grading and regulations plus any matters arising subsequent to the meeting on the 7th March. Clubs are advised to have a delegate in attendance at both meetings. Correspondence for 7th March should reach the office or be received by email by 1st March. Any applications in respect of adult grading to reach office or be received by email by 3rd March. Feile Cups not already returned are now overdue and must be brought to the meeting on 7th March.
Dublin Senior Team Fundraiser 2017 - our Senior County Team are organising a 18 hole fundraising Golf Classic in Hollystown Golf Club on Friday April 21st.
Teams of four are invited to take part - the entry fee of €400 per team includes tea /scones and a 3 course meal. The event itself will have a shotgun start at 2.30pm with a raffle on the night along with a player’s presentation. Sponsorship is also sought for the following: Tee box €150, Green €100, Fairway €50.
