Dublin LGFA Weekly Notes

A massive weekend lies ahead for Dublin Ladies club football as both Foxrock Cabinteely and St Maur's contest the senior and junior club All Ireland finals.

On Saturday December 3rd St Maur's will play Kinsale of Cork in the junior final at 1pm in Dr Cullen Park, Carlow.

Foxrock Cabinteely will take on reigning champions Donaghmoyne of Monaghan on Sunday in the Senior decider at 2:45pm in Parnell Park.

Everyone in Dublin LGFA would like to offer players, management and supporters  of both clubs our very best wishes on what will be a historic and very proud occasion for both clubs.

Dublin LGFA held our annual awards and medal presentations on Saturday last in the Gibson Hotel. Congrats to our Minor, U21 and senior players who received their championship medals and well done to our 2016 Player of the Year award winners, Sinead Goldrick (Senior), Laureen Magee (U21) and Jade Sweeney Knott (Minor). Congratulations to our Players Player of the Year Award winners Sinead Aherne and Niamh Collins (Senior) and Hannah O'Neill (Minor).

A big thank you to our wonderful MC, Joanne Cantwell and to event organiser Kathleen Colreavy.
