Leinster School Club Link

The closing date for applications for the Leinster School Club Link has been extended to TUESDAY 8th NOVEMBER at 5.00pm.

Club School Link is a new and exciting Leinster LGFA development initiative aimed at strengthening and building lasting relationships and links between clubs and their local primary schools.

This is the perfect opportunity for clubs that have been struggling with player numbers to attract vital new members to help secure their future. Established clubs that can prove that there are enough potential players in their area are also invited to attend as are new clubs that have the appropriate structures in place.

The Club School Link programme offers clubs the opportunity to increase the numbers of players playing in their club. Players that might never have played the game before will have the chance to take part in the sport in a safe school based environment and eventually they can be integrated with the existing players in the club.

Participating clubs and schools will receive free training for their coaches and teachers and they will session plans and coaching resources to ensure that the sessions are designed to give the participants the best chance at enjoying a new sport as well as develop their skills.
