Junior Dub Stars 2016 in association with New Ireland Assurance
Dublin LGFA is inviting clubs to nominate a player from their Junior championship (Junior B to G clubs only) squad who you wish to represent your club on the Junior Dub Stars team of 2016.
This event was established last season to recognise and honour the dedication and commitment of our Junior club footballers.
The Junior Dub Stars game will be the curtain raiser to the feature match between the Dublin Senior team and the Dub Stars team of 2016.
The Dub Stars team will be made up of players from senior, Intermediate and Junior A clubs as chosen by a selection committee.
Two Junior Dub Stars teams will play each other at 11.30am in DCU, St Clare’s on January 8th 2016 while the Dub Stars game versus Dublin will get underway at 1.00pm.
Clubs are invited to nominate an adult team panellist who they feel have the necessary skills set to compete at this level and who have shown exceptional form for their club throughout 2016.
Each Junior Dub Star player will receive a specially commissioned Dub Stars playing kit and a commemorative medal.
Nominations are requested to be submitted to the office on or before Monday the 21st of November at 5pm. Please submit your player’s name, playing position, Email address and contact number to the office by email to info@dublinladiesgaelic.ie
Nominations will only be accepted from Club Secretaries.
