Dublin Team to face Laois is named

Dublin starting 15 announced ahead of Sunday’s Leinster Championship clash with Laois -

 

Dublin manager, Gregory McGonigle has announced his starting 15 for this Sunday’s eagerly awaited TG4 Leinster championship clash with Laois.

 

Dublin’s last championship game was of course the 2015 All Ireland final versus Cork. Nine players who started the final last September will return to championship action this Sunday for Dublin in the opening round of the 2016 Leinster Championship.

 

Absent from the starting 15 who began last September versus Cork are Muireann Ni Scanaill, Fiona Hudson, Colleen Barrett, Amy Connolly, Niamh McEvoy and Hannah Noonan. All apart from Noonan are listed amongst the substitutes giving an indication as to the strength of this current Dublin panel. 

 

Players getting an opportunity to showcase their talents on Sunday are Deirdre Murphy, Leah Caffrey, Niamh Collins, Nicole Owens and Siobhan Woods. While Sinead Aherne returns to championship fare after taking a year out of football in 2015.
