Dublin's U14 Ladies Footballers just came up short today in a thrilling Leinster Final played in Coralstown Gaa Club in Kinnegad.
Kildare had much the better of the first half and led by 1-05 to 0-02 at the break and Dublin had it all to do.
But the Dubs gave it their all in the second period and clawed back an eight point deficit to leave just the bare minimum between the sides with fifteen minutes to play.
Kildare pulled nine in front again but back came the sky blues with two goals minutes apart to leave three between the sides with time running out.
But Dublin just couldn't get that vital fifth goal to square up the game and Kildare held on for victory.
