Leinster Minor Championship Semi-final

Saturday April 2nd, 2pm

Dublin v Kildare,

Venue: Clane GAA club

Dublin management have named their starting 15 for tomorrow’s MFC Leinster semi-final clash with Kildare.

There are three changes in personal from the team which lined out versus Offaly on March 20th last. Muireann O’Gorman comes back into the team wearing number 2 while the versatile Erica Byrne switches from defence to midfield in place of the injured Hannah O’Dea.

Up front Dearbhla Snow starts for the injured Ciara McDunphy with Grace O’Shea making way for Julia Buckley on the half forward line.

Reigning champions Dublin will carry the favourites tag into the semi-final but Kildare will be brimming with confidence following their injury time playoff victory over Meath last weekend.

Kildare also have the added advantage of playing on home turf while Dublin will have to over the loss of both Hannah O’Dea and Ciara McDunphy from their starting 15 due to injury. Both players having enjoyed a good championship campaign to date in the sky blue jersey.

The game has all the makings of a classic with the winner playing either Westmeath or Offaly in the provincial decider on July 3rd.
