Sunday April 3rd, 12:00 noon

Dublin v Armagh

Venue: Athletic Grounds, Armagh

Dublin resumes their NFL campaign this Sunday with an away trip to Armagh. The game which is a repeat of the 2015 All Ireland senior semi-final will be played ahead of the Allianz NFL division 2 clash between Armagh and Derry.

Armagh under new manager Ronan Clarke had a super beginning to their league campaign with victories over Tyrone, Kerry and Monaghan but have lost their last two NFL outings to Mayo and Galway respectively.  Armagh will be keen to get back to winning ways this Sunday especially in front of what should be a large number of home supporters.

Dublin boss, Gregory McGonigle will be eager for his side to maintain their good run in the NFL having lost just the one fixture to table toppers Mayo.  Dublin to date have enjoyed league victories over Kerry, Monaghan, Cork and Tyrone. With nearly a four week break between rounds McGonigle will be hoping his chargers get away to a good start with results now vital in deciding the semi-finals pairings of the 2016 NFL.

The two sides last meet back in September 2015 on that occasion the Dubs booked their place in the All Ireland final with a 9 point winning margin over the Orchard County. Since then Armagh have lost the services of James Daly who had brought both NFL and provincial success to the County. Former County Star Ronan Clarke took over the reins earlier this year and will be looking to kick on from the tremendous progress made by Armagh under Daly.

Down official Gavin Corrigan will get proceedings under way in the Athletic Grounds at 12 noon.
