Club scene:

Our, sincere commiserations to junior champions Castleknock who last Saturday despite a brave performance lost out to Old Leighlin (Carlow) in the replay of the Leinster Junior championship final by a single point. FT score Castleknock 1-10 Old Leighlin 2-08 while Hannah Hanlon (Castleknock) was presented with the POTM award, Hannah bagged 1-07 of her sides tally.

This coming Sunday (November 18th) our Senior and Intermediate champions, Foxrock Cabinteely and Clontarf are both competing in their respective All Ireland semi -finals. Foxrock Cabinteely take on Donaghmoyne (Monaghan) at 1pm in Bray Emmets while Clontarf make the journey west to Ballinasloe for their semi-final meeting with St Brendan’s (Galway) throw in time is also 1pm.


Notice of Dublin Annual County Convention 2018:

The Annual County Convention of Dublin Ladies Gaelic Football has been set for Saturday December 1st 2018. The convention will take place in the Clayton Dublin Airport Hotel (previously Bewley’s, just off Clonshaugh Road at end N50) from 10am to 1pm.


Clubs are invited to submit nominations, motions and recommendations, official forms have been emailed to all club Secretaries. Deadline for receipt of nominations, motions and recommendations is THIS Friday the 16th of November 2018 at 5pm (close of business). Papers may be sent to Dublin Ladies Gaelic Football, Le Chéile Community Centre, Donnycarney Dublin 5 or emailed to secretary.dublin@lgfa.ie


November County Board meeting:

A meeting of the Dublin LGFA County Board will take place on Tuesday November 20th at 7:30pm in Parnell Park.
