GOAL KEEPING WORKSHOPS:
The role of the goalkeeper is fast becoming one of the key positions on all Gaelic football teams both at club and indeed County level.
This workshop is aimed at helping goalkeepers to improve and to give them guidance on training techniques / drills.
Who should attend: Players who play in goal for their club or those player who may step into that position occasionally for their club team.
Coaching the Goalkeeper workshop – will be ran exclusively for Dublin LGFA by Ronan McGann (Dublin former senior / current minor coach) will focus on key goalkeeping areas, and providing information on some of the important aspects of coaching underage / senior female goalkeepers.
The first workshop on Saturday August 11th will primarily focus on coaching underage goalkeepers, i.e. 13 – 16 years.
A second workshop for adult goalkeepers will take place on Saturday August 25th both will take place in IT Blanchardstown. Duration: 10am to 2:30pm
Fee per workshop: €25 includes light lunch

• Goalkeeping Basics and Warm-Ups
• Dealing with high balls
• Shot-Stopping
• Kick-outs
