Dublin LGFA County Board Meetings

The first of two County Board meeting held in February will take place this coming Tuesday the 13th, agenda items for this meeting to include juvenile competition gradings (U13 to minor).

The second monthly meeting will take place on the 20th of February whereby the adult competition gradings will be discussed. Both meetings are scheduled to take place in Parnell Park, commencing at 7.30 promptly.

Juvenile competitions for U13 to minor grades are due to commence on the 24/25th of February.


Pre-season administration:

A reminder to clubs that all players must be registered in order to train and play with your club, please check with your club registrar as to the status of your players ahead of the new season.

All challenge games need County Board approval, simply email the date, venue, time and the name of your opponents to info@dublinladiesgaelic.ie reminder games versus teams outside of Dublin are subject to approval from Leinster Council or Croke Park whichever is relevant.


All aspects of the Child First Act of 2015 is now active therefore all juvenile mentors must be over 16 years of age, must be registered members of their club, must have at a minimum a Fundamental / Foundation level coaching cert, must have completed a Safeguarding Children’s course and must be GARDA vetted.


LIDL NFL 2018:

Congratulations to Dublin on their win over Cork in the third round of the NFL last Saturday night. The match report from the game can be read on our website www.dublinladiesgaelic.ie


Next up is an away fixture versus Mayo on Saturday the 24th of February in Castlebar this game will also feature as part of a double bill with the men, in what will be a repeat of both 2017 Senior All Ireland finals.
