Dublin Ladies Gaelic Weekly Update 5th May 2008

The next County Board meeting will take place in Aras Atha Cliath, Parnell
Park on Tuesday May 20th at 7.30pm sharp. ALL clubs are asked to ensure
that their delegates are present on the night without exception as there is a very important agenda.

The new Dublin Ladies Football website is now available to view at
www.dublinladiesgaelic.ie This is a trial run for the site and we look forward to positive feed back. We hope to officially launch the site shortly.

Well done to our under 16 and u14 teams who have both secured Leinster

We would also like to wish our minor team the very best of luck as they take on Laois in the Leinster Final on
Saturday next in Dr.Cullen Park, Carlow. Throw in is at 6pm and we urge as many supporters as possible
 to come and support this fine young team.


Well done to all the U12 Academy squad players who participated in a Blitz over the weekend

U11 Academy Squad for 2008 next training date is Sunday May 11th 9:30-10:45am in St Brigids, meet at 9:15am.

The final Grab Your Whistle course of the season will take place shortly this is a 3 day course starting on Saturday 28th June and continuing on
Saturday 5th and 26th July. Participants must be 16 years or over and theywill be eligible to referee up to under 14 inter county level.
These new participants will be ‘buddied’ with current referees in the county who will guide and support them through their training.
It is important that all clubs educate a number of referees as they are an
essential resource for every club. If anyone is interested in participating on this course you can contact Lyn Savage, Dublin Regional Games

Alternatively you can download the course registration form from the
development section of the site and return along with the €20 deposit. This deposit will be returned on completion of the course. This will be the final‘Grab Your Whistle’ course available free to clubs so it is advised to avail of this.
