Dublin LGFA Weekly Notes:
Annual Awards:
Congratulations to our senior and minor award winners of 2018 Lyndsey Davey (Senior POY), Siobhan Woods & Kate Fitzgibbon (Laoch Gorm Na Foirne), Sarah Fagan (Minor POY) and Hannah Leahy (Minor PPOY) and to all our senior and minor players who received their championship and NFL medals last Saturday night. All Ireland Club Finals:
LGFA have confirmed that both the All Ireland Senior and Intermediate club finals will take place in Parnell Park on Saturday the 8th of December. Foxrock Cabinteely will take on Munster champions, Mourneabbey (Cork) in the senior final at 5.15pm followed by the Intermediate Club Final featuring Clontarf and Emmet Óg (Monaghan) at 7.30pm.
Notice of Dublin Annual County Convention 2018:
The Annual County Convention of Dublin Ladies Gaelic Football will take place this Saturday December 1st 2018. The convention will take place in the Clayton Dublin Airport Hotel (previously Bewley’s, just off Clonshaugh Road at end N50) from 10am to 1pm.
Christmas Corporate Lunch:
The Dublin senior football team are holding a fundraising corporate lunch in Clontarf Castle on Friday the 14th of December. The event will be hosted by Darragh Moloney with special guests Brian O’Driscoll, Fiona Coghlan, Lindsay Peat, Joe Brolly and Paul Flynn. For booking information please email dlfrequests@gmail.com
New Ireland Assurance Dub Stars 2018:
Our annual Dub Stars event will take place on January 13th in DCU. The Junior Dub Stars match will get proceedings underway at 11:30am followed by the Dub Stars v Dublin at 1.30pm
