Dublin v Mayo

Dublin manager Mick Bohan has named a strong starting 15 for this Saturday’s eagerly awaited clash with Mayo. Indeed 14 of the All-Ireland team that lined out against the same opposition last September are listed to start in this latest encounter between these two modern day rivals.

Following on from last Saturdays win over Cavan, Bohan has reintroduced defenders Leah Caffrey and Sinead Goldrick into his back six with two times All Star Siobhan McGrath switching with Thomas Davis, club-mate Olwen Carey to partner Lauren Magee in midfield.

Up front the experienced Lyndsey Davey is named on the half forward line with Oonagh Whyte who impressed in last week’s tussle with Cavan named amongst the replacements.

Naomh Barrog’s, Laura McGinley who popped up from corner back to score two first half goals in last Saturdays win over Cavan, only to be replaced at half time owing to injury is also listed amongst the Dublin replacements.

Maggie Farrelly from Cavan is the official in charge of this latest instalment between Dublin and Mayo with the throw in time listed for 1pm. The game is live on TG4 and Dublin LGFA will also have LIVE score updates, team news and information available via their social media pages.
